Community Based Charitable Childcare Program
Community Based Charitable Childcare Program
At Suntree Day Care & OSC, we believe that every child deserves access to quality early learning, care, and developmental support, regardless of their family’s financial situation, language background, immigration journey, or social challenges.
Our community-based charitable childcare program is designed to support low-income families, newcomer families, refugee children, and other vulnerable families who may face barriers in accessing safe, inclusive, and high-quality early childhood education.
Supporting Children, Families and the Community
Our program goes beyond regular childcare. We focus on helping children build confidence, develop social and emotional skills, improve communication, and prepare for success in school and community life.
Through age-appropriate learning activities, children are supported in areas such as:
- Early literacy and numeracy
- Social interaction and teamwork
- Emotional development and self-confidence
- English-language exposure
- Communication skills
- Cultural adjustment and inclusion
- School readiness and daily routines
We understand that many children from newcomer, refugee, and financially vulnerable families may need extra support as they adjust to a new environment. Our educators and support staff work with care, patience, and compassion to help each child feel safe, welcomed, and included.
Our Community Purpose
The purpose of this program is to advance early childhood education and provide meaningful community benefit by improving access to childcare and learning opportunities for families who may otherwise face barriers.
By supporting vulnerable children and families, Beaumont Stars Academy & OSC contributes to a stronger, more inclusive, and caring community.
We are proud to provide a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive while families receive the support they need during important stages of their lives.
Helping Parents and Families
Suntree Day Care & OSC also supports parents and caregivers by helping them better understand childcare routines, early learning expectations, available community resources, and family-support services.
Our team assists families with information related to childcare participation, subsidy guidance, school-readiness expectations, settlement-sensitive support, and referrals to appropriate community resources where needed.
